In recent years, the building industry, as well as individual entrepreneurs, have been experimenting and researching new ways to recycle and reuse waste materials for building elements. In the technical study for this project, the focus will be on creating a new composite material using different recyclable elements and using this material to develop tiles which will later be used in the design of a facade fabric. One of the aims of this thesis is to produce this tile with a process that allows it to be produced locally, and via community workshops, as well as on a larger, industrial scale.
